Ok we are all SUPER excited!!!! Remember we recorded some new tracks a few weeks back? Well, tomorrow, joined by an amazing team, we begin shooting a music video to our Celtic arrangement of Evanescence's My Immortal. We are delighted with how the song has worked out and cannot wait to start filming tomorrow. Our director and chief camera man, the inimitable, ridiculously talented Sam O'Mahony, will put us through our paces and guide us through the various scenes. We each have our own story within the video...but that's as much as we're telling!!
Also joining us is stylist supreme Iseult Sheehy and we cannot wait to see the incredible outfits she has chosen for us! We will start the day at 8am in Kazumi Hair Salon in Dublin and make-up will be by acclaimed make-up artist, Michella Kinsella. We are also incredibly fortunate to be joined by stills photographer, Lucy Nuzum tomorrow.
Watch out world, here we come! Expect to hear alot more about Celtic Rose over the coming weeks and months...

You may remember Mary posting a blog entitled 'It's all about me' a few weeks ago?! Well this video is a little taster of that day when we recorded the hilarious 'Adelaide's Wedding' (Jonathan Dove) with Ben Rawlins in DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama. Sam O'Mahony is the genius behind the camera - and believe me, he IS a genius -  we kept bursting out laughing for no apparent reason, tripped over things (mostly our words), and had all sorts of make-up malfunctions throughout the day and he still managed to make this video intelligible, despite the fact that we are a bunch of crazies - we love you Sam!

We will be making a full music video to this fantastic piece in the next while so please keep your eyes peeled! Very exciting times ahead!

Night night for now, Emer xxx

Thank you Jeff Reichert for designing the Rose Mobile!!! We would really arrive in style in this beast of a motor vehicle!

Spending some time working with the incredibly special children at the Seashell Trust in Manchester. Many of the children here are blind and deaf so they access the harp music through vibrations on a special resonating surface. Music truly is a universal language. :-) *Aisling Rose*

So the way it works in the studio is that I stand outside with the producer and do guide vocals while Mary plays in the booth and Aisling has an ENTIRE room all to herself (and her harp) Seriously, and they call ME Diva Rose?!

Any self respecting Celtic Rose must keep the rose garden fed and watered! ;-) roses on set of our first video... Rehearsals in such beautiful surroundings are always fun! *Aisling Rose* xx

Well, in today's news, we introduced Aisling to blogging.......yes, we regret it too....;-)

In other news, we had a fantastic day of recording in Jealoustown studio Navan!!! Despite a power failure mid track, we still managed to put down three songs with only a little bit of tweaking left to do. Thanks to the fantastic Mark Cahill and lots and lots and lots of chocolate. YUM!!!

Another big day tomorrow and an early start so time for some sleep

zzzzzzzzzzzz
